Privacy Policy


This privacy policy applies to the SkyGeo Location app, hereby referred to as the "Application", for mobile devices. The Application was created by Jaydeep Mulani, hereby referred to as the "Service Provider", as a Freemium service. This service is provided for use "AS IS".

This Privacy Policy explains how the Application collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you download, access, or use the Application, including any optional Pro features purchased through Apple In-App Purchase.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device Internet Protocol address, such as IP address
  • The pages, screens, or features of the Application that you visit
  • The time and date of your visit
  • The time spent on those pages, screens, or features
  • The time spent using the Application
  • The operating system you use on your mobile device
  • Device information needed for app performance, analytics, crash reports, and service improvement
  • User ID or similar app-related identifier, when required for app functionality

The Application may collect your device location, subject to the permissions you allow on your device. Location data helps the Service Provider provide location-based features inside the Application.

The Service Provider may use location data in the following ways:

Geolocation Services

The Service Provider uses location data to provide features such as personalized content, relevant recommendations, location-based tools, and location-based services.

Analytics and App Improvement

The Service Provider may use aggregated or anonymized location data to analyze app usage, identify trends, fix issues, and improve the performance and functionality of the Application.

Third-Party Services

The Service Provider may share aggregated or anonymized location data with external services that help improve the Application, analyze performance, detect crashes, and optimize the service.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence technologies to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with service-related messages, required notices, support responses, product updates, and marketing promotions, where allowed by law.

For a better experience, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to user ID. The information requested by the Service Provider will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases and Pro Features

The Application may offer an optional one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. This purchase is processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system as a non-consumable purchase.

The Service Provider does not collect or store your payment card number, bank account details, Apple ID password, or other payment method details. Payment processing is handled by Apple.

To provide and maintain access to Pro features, the Application may process purchase-related information such as:

  • Product identifier
  • Transaction identifier
  • Purchase date
  • Purchase status
  • Receipt or transaction validation data
  • Restore purchase status
  • Refund or revocation status, where available through Apple systems

The Service Provider uses purchase-related information only to:

  • Unlock Pro features
  • Verify purchase status
  • Restore eligible purchases
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain app functionality
  • Keep accurate service records
  • Comply with legal and tax-related obligations, where applicable

The Application does not use purchase information for third-party advertising. The Service Provider does not sell purchase information.

Users can restore eligible Pro purchases using the restore purchase option inside the Application. Refund requests for purchases made through Apple’s In-App Purchase system are handled by Apple through Apple’s official refund process.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated or anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and the service.

The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies about handling data. These services may collect information used to identify you, depending on their own privacy practices and the data shared by the Application.

Third-party services used by the Application may include:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Apple App Store and Apple In-App Purchase system

For purchases made through the Apple App Store, Apple may process payment, transaction, refund, tax, and purchase history information according to Apple’s own privacy policy and terms. The Service Provider does not control Apple’s payment processing systems.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process
  • When the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect rights, protect user safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
  • With trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, have no independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to follow the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy
  • To support, maintain, analyze, and improve the Application
  • To verify purchases, restore purchases, process support requests, or prevent misuse of Pro features

Analytics and Crash Reporting

The Application may use analytics and crash reporting tools to understand how users interact with the Application, detect app crashes, fix bugs, improve performance, and improve user experience.

Analytics and crash reporting data may include device information, app usage data, crash logs, operating system version, app version, device model, session data, and related technical information.

If purchase events are collected through analytics tools, they may include purchase-related details such as product identifier, price, currency, transaction status, and app interaction data. This data is used for app functionality, analytics, performance measurement, and product improvement.

Location Permissions

The Application may request access to your device location to provide location-based features.

You can allow or deny location access through your device settings. You can also change location permission settings at any time through your device settings.

If you deny or disable location permission, some features of the Application may not work properly.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace.

You can manage app permissions, including location permission, through your device settings.

You can limit certain analytics or tracking options through your device privacy settings, where supported by your operating system.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

Purchase-related records used to unlock Pro features may be retained for as long as needed to provide purchased Pro access, support restore purchases, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate records.

If purchase-related data is deleted from the Service Provider’s systems, the Application may still rely on Apple’s purchase history or StoreKit transaction records to restore eligible purchases.

If you would like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at climb.chafer5114@eagereverest.com. The Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time.

Some data may need to be retained when required by law, for fraud prevention, purchase verification, dispute resolution, security, or legitimate business record purposes.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete this information from its servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at climb.chafer5114@eagereverest.com so that necessary action can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained by the Application.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure. The Service Provider works to use reasonable means to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Processing

Information collected through the Application may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence. Data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing and storage of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information provided through the Application.

The Service Provider may need to verify your request before taking action.


Tracking and App Tracking Transparency

The Application may request permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

If you allow tracking, the Application and its third-party advertising, analytics, or measurement partners may use data such as device identifiers, advertising identifier, app usage data, diagnostics, and approximate location to measure advertising performance, improve marketing campaigns, prevent fraud, and show more relevant ads where applicable.

If you do not allow tracking, the Application will not access Apple’s advertising identifier for tracking purposes and will not track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.

You can allow, deny, or change tracking permission at any time from your device settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Third-party services used by the Application may include:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase

  • Firebase Crashlytics

  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads

  • Apple App Store and Apple In-App Purchase system


Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify users of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly for changes. Continued use of the Application after updates means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-05-29.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.

By purchasing Pro features, you agree that Apple may process your payment and transaction information through Apple’s In-App Purchase system, and that the Application may process purchase-related information needed to unlock, verify, and restore Pro access.
